In Their Honor: Fueling Hope, Funding Change

A Thousand Things a Day—Today, $1,000 for a Cure
As a pediatric oncologist, my days are filled with stories—of bravery, resilience, heartbreak, and hope. I’m stepping forward in a new way to honor them.
For Conquer Cancer Day, I’m setting out to raise $1,000 in just one day. It’s a small goal in the midst of a million daily tasks—but one that matters deeply. Cancer research is facing tough times, with scientists working harder than ever to move discovery forward despite shrinking funding opportunities. This campaign is one way we can push back—with generosity, solidarity, and hope
That’s why I’m asking you to stand with me, my colleagues, and most importantly, my patients—past and present—by donating.
Every dollar makes a difference. And thanks to matching funds on May 1st, every donation up to $10,000 will be doubled!
Let’s honor the stories behind every lab breakthrough—the kids we care for, the teams who show up every day, and the future we’re still fighting to write
