Ebrahim “Ebe” Mostoufi-Moab, beloved husband, adored father, and cherished friend passed away from complications of cancer on March 16, 2024, in Plantation, Florida. He graduated at the top of his medical school class from the University of Pahlavi Shiraz in Iran. He completed his residency and fellowship in cardiology at the University of Miami, FL. His unparalleled dedication to learning and quest for knowledge earned him early accolades that continued throughout his medical career. His expertise guided numerous friends, colleagues, and patients as a valued and brilliant cardiologist who readily had answers to medical questions. Ebe was a dedicated physician and compassionate healer who always went above and beyond to care for his patients and those who reached out to him in need. He was generous with his time and gentle with his bedside manners. Above all, he loved teaching his medical profession to trainees and students.
A quiet and serious man, Ebe had a legendary sense of humor. He shared a joke or two on every occasion, making those around him laugh with joy and ease. He even used his sense of humor as a medicine to calm his patients and build rapport. Humor was his weapon to fight challenges, obstacles, and difficulties he had to overcome in life. Ebe was a pillar of strength for his family, colleagues, and members of the community.
Ebrahim Mostoufi-Moab’s life story is one of dedication, determination, love, and unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and patients. He was a bright light that generously lit and gave warmth to those around him. He will be deeply missed, yet the seeds of his love for learning and compassion for others will continue to grow in the hearts of those who knew him and flourish for generations to come. We will continue to celebrate his life and legacy. May peace be upon his departed soul.
